Concert kicks off week of events honoring La Crosse order's first black member

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Happening Sunday, Viterbo University is celebrating FSPA Sister Thea Bowman with a ‘Legacy Concert‘.

Bowman, the first black member of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, graduated from Viterbo College in 1965.

The concert, featuring six bands and artists, kicks off a week of events honoring Bowman, who is the subject of a sainthood effort.
