Leaf collections begins Oct. 12 in Onalaska
ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) — Leaf collection begins Oct. 12 in the city of Onalaska.
The city contracts with Harter’s Quick Clean-up for leaf vacuuming services. It is estimated to take seven weeks as Harter makes four passes through the cities.
Property owners are encouraged to place leaves in the boulevard in one large pile as soon as possible, as the service may take more or fewer than seven weeks, depending on weather conditions.
Harter’s will not collect leaves pushed into streets, gutters, driverways, sidewalks or alleyways. It also does not pick up leaves beyind parked cars.
People can also utilize the weekly hyard waste pick-up srvice or place leaves in paper yard waste bags.
