LeaderEthics-Wisconsin offers video presentation geared toward elected officials, political candidates

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – With local elections coming up in our community LeaderEthics – Wisconsin is giving candidates for Mayor of La Crosse, City Council, and local school boards resources to help prepare them for leadership roles in our community.

The organization launched a video presentation on its website that helps build a better understanding of ethical leadership practices and overcoming challenges elected officials often face.

It’s called “Becoming a Candidate on an Ethical Leadership Platform.”

LeaderEthics – Wisconsin explained that when people do everyday things like shopping at local businesses or sending their children to school, they are entrusting others to make ethical decisions.

Elected officials should be held to that same standard.

“We need to expect ethical leadership from elected officials. It’s as applicable in politics as it is in business, education, healthcare, or any other area,” said Lee Rasch, the organization’s executive director.

Although the presentation is geared toward those running for or already in elected positions, anyone can jump in on this opportunity.
