LAX Food Hall moves opening to fall due to construction delays
LA CROSSE (WKBT) – Owners of newly anticipated food hall in downtown La Crosse say the wait will be little bit longer.
LAX Food Hall – a collection of several different food vendors to be housed in one indoor location – aimed to be open on June 1. However, owners say that delays related to construction mean they need to aim for a later date.
“Unfortunately our opening got delayed, so we’re aiming for this fall,” owner Michael Margulis said.
The delays have not stopped new vendors from joining in, however.
“Yesterday we signed a smoothie, juice, and crepes restaurant. They are making traditional crepes and savory lunch and dinner crepes. They are called Plaid Pineapple. That’s our 4th, we have five stalls on the 1st floor and six on the second,” Margulis added.
Margulis said in addition to the newly signed Plaid Pineapple, they have also signed Mama sols Comfort Kitchen, Fibonaccis Pasta and Pho 608. The location is at the 500 block of Jay Street.
