La Crosse’s director of public works announces retirement
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The city’s Director of Public Works, Dale Hexom is retiring.
Hexom has been with the city since April 2005. Hexom has been an integral part of major development projects, and other improvements, like to the city’s emergency radio systems.
With more 40 years under his belt which includes 4 different cities, Hexom says La Crosse is a great place to end his career on a high note.
“My peers across the state view the City of La Crosse as one of the premier places to come to work. It’s got a lot of things going for it obviously,” said Hexom.
Hexom’s last day will be December 31st.
