La Crosse sees 54 new COVID-19 cases, Wisconsin reports 1,271

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — La Crosse County had 54 new cases of COVID-19 Monday, according to numbers reported by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Of the new cases, 10 are among those aged 10-19 and 19 are aged 20-29. There are five aged 30-39, one aged 40-49, three aged 50-59 and five new cases among those in their 80s. There is also one more case among people in their 90s.

There were no new deaths in the county.

Statewide, Wisconsin had 1,271 positive tests reported Monday and two new coronavirus-related deaths.

That brings the total number of cases in the state to 102,498. One thousand two-hundred and forty-four Wisconsinites have died from the virus.
