La Crosse Schools to return to in-person classes for some students
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)- The La Crosse School District announced Wednesday evening that some students will be returning to in-person classes.
The district says students in 4K-5TH grades will be able to return to school on Oct. 26th.
Virtual learning will be extended through at least November 1st for 6-12th grade students.
Superintendent Aaron Engel says the district is committed to at least two weeks of in-person instruction once it begins.
If conditions continue to improve as expected, the district anticipates moving to hybrid instruction for middle school students on November 2.
Engel says high school students will remain in virtual learning until they see further improvements with the county numbers.
