La Crosse residents attend livestream of world’s largest leadership conference

The world’s largest, one-day leadership conference brought hundreds of people to La Crosse’s Weber Center for the Performing Arts.

Several local groups gathered at the Weber Center to watch the Leadercast conference, which was being broadcast live out of Geogia.

This year’s theme, ‘Lead Yourself,’ focused on self-motivation to create leadership skills and qualities.

People who attended in La Crosse listened-in on speeches from world-renowned leaders and took part in a leadership conference that involved local businesses, like Dynamic Recycling, Kaplan, and Moka.

“When there’s good leadership everybody wins. Whether it’s at home, whether it’s at school, whether it’s in business, nonprofit, when we’ve got good leadership that are self-aware and can lead themselves everybody wins,” said Dahl Automotive President Andrew Dahl.

More than 100,000 people attended this year’s Leadercast from around the world. The events and speeches were broadcast to more than 20 countries.
