La Crosse Regional Airport to hold emergency response exercise
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The La Crosse Regional Airport will hold an emergency response exercise Wednesday, bringing together partner agencies to practice for an airport emergency.
The scenario involves an aircraft incident with passengers, crew and emergency responders.
“This exercise is meant to test our capabilities and to help community emergency response organizations grow and prepare for potential events,” said Doug Brown, deputy airport director. “Learning from these opportunities is key to the success of the event.”
Individuals within close proximity to the La Crosse Regional Airport will notice increased activity between 4:30p.m. and 8:30p.m. However, activity related to setting up the event will occur any time after noon.
