La Crosse Public Library kicking off National Library Week with special programs, art show

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – National Library Week begins Monday, and the La Crosse Public Library is encouraging everyone to stop by.

This year’s theme is “connect with your library.”

Public libraries are spaces where everyone can get connected to technology, resources, and a new favorite book.

Special events are happening all week long, including a tiny art show, a scavenger hunt, and a tour of the main library’s new Creation Space.

On Friday, the library will reveal a new banner designed by a UW-La Crosse student as part of their Libraries Are for Everyone project.

You can find more information on how you can celebrate on the La Crosse Public Library’s website.
