La Crosse Police arrest 3 in connection with recent shooting incident

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The La Crosse Police Department arrested three individuals this week on drug and weapons charges, as a result of an ongoing investigation into a recent shooting incident.
On August 24, at 10:59 p.m. officers responded to the 500 block of Mississippi Street for reports of shots fired. Several callers reported hearing gunshots and saw debris flying off walls. Witnesses told police they saw vehicles leave the area after the shots were fired. Officer did find two different bullet holes at two different residences.
Video footage from security cameras captured the suspect vehicle, a silver Dodge Caravan. Neighborhood Resource Officer Reed located the matching vehicle via the downtown camera system.
On August 25, the suspect vehicle was traveling southbound on Rose Street, where officers conducted a traffic stop. Police located a handgun, spent shell casing and drugs in the vehicle.
The following individuals were taken into custody, and the listed charges are being referred to the La Crosse County District Attorney’s office:
