La Crosse, Onalaska veterinary clinics team up to offer after-hours emergency care

Three local veterinary clinics are teaming up.

Central Animal Hospital, Thompson Animal Center, and Hillside Animal Hospital are working together to provide after-hours emergency vet care.

Starting next Monday, each clinic will be in charge of offering overnight emergency services for a week. Records from any after-hours care will go back to your regular veterinarian the next morning.

“Emergency services are becoming rarer and rarer in this area, and we felt that it was important to combine together as a team, again still functioning as our own clinics, but to offer support to animals in the area that need emergency services,” said Central Animal Hospital President Douglas Kratt.

Those who need pet care after business hours can all their regular vet office. A voicemail will then tell you which clinic is on call that night, and a phone number for the clinic.
