La Crosse, Monroe County organizations receive grants to support low income, emergency housing
$1 million dollars of grants distributed across Wisconsin
MADISON, Wis. (WKBT) – Three local organizations that provide low income and emergency housing will receive a portion of a state grant.
The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority is splitting $1 million dollars among 41 organizations.
The Salvation Army of La Crosse County will receive $40,000.
CouleeCap will receive $25,000.
Both organizations will use the money for building improvements.
The Tomah Veterans Assistance Foundation will receive $15,000 dollars.
