LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — As Americans are celebrating America’s independence , La Crosse Mayor Tim Kabat is preparing to bring some American good will to La Crosse’s sister cities.

Kabat has never been to France and is excited to make the trip.
“We’ve had a long relationship and there’s something to be said about the emails and the internet, but to be there in person, to actually get to experience that, I’m really looking forward to that,” said Kabat.
Mayor Kabat will also be joined by Vicki Markussen of the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce and Lisa Herr of the Seven Rivers Alliance.
