La Crosse Loggers name new manager

Bill Sandillo to be sixth manager in Loggers team history

The La Crosse Loggers named Bill Sandillo as the sixth manager in Loggers team history, the team announced Tuesday.

Sandillo has worked more than 15 years in professional baseball as either a player, coach or executive as well as one season in the Cape Cod Summer Collegiate League.

Sandillo lives and works out of Chandler, Arizona. He currently oversees three baseball-driven businesses in Chandler. Sandillo is also the founder and CEO of Predator Performance Sports Management, a company that offers management services, marketing, personal training and instructing for athletes of all age groups.

“When you couple the experience and level of expertise that Bill brings to the table with his evident passion for the game, we’ve found a leader that our incoming Loggers will love to learn from and develop under,” Loggers General Manager Chriss Goodell said.  “We can’t wait to introduce Bill to our Logger faithful and go to work with him as we prepare for 2015.”

“I am honored that I was chosen to be the next manager for such a great organization,” Sandillo said. “I am very thankful to the Loggers management and ownership for this great opportunity and I look forward to working with everyone in La Crosse.”

Sandillo will replace Jason Nell who stepped down after two seasons as manager.
