La Crosse Jaycee’s Toys for Tots wraps-up soon
Make donations before bins are collected
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The deadline is coming up for toy donations to help brighten the holidays for local kids.
The La Crosse Jaycee’s ‘Toys for Tots’ program is accepting toys through Friday night. They are hoping to provide toys for nearly 1,200 kids this year.
Toys for Tots organizers say they are running out of Legos, action figures, Barbies and books this year.
“It means a lot to us. I think we live in such a caring and giving community. Every toy makes a huge difference. Whether people understand how big of a difference it makes or not, it really does,” said La Crosse Jaycee’s Toys for Tots 2017 Chairperson Amanda Olbrys.
Drop-off boxes are being picked-up throughout the day on Friday, meaning Thursday may be your last chance to donate. The La Crosse Jaycee’s Toys for Tots giveaway day is on December 9.
