La Crosse given no violations in 2019 water quality, EPA considers safe
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The City of La Crosse water reported no violations of maximum contaminant levels or other water quality standards in 2019.
According to a news release from the La Crosse Water Utility, the EPA has determined that water in La Crosse is safe at the contaminant levels detected.
City of La Crosse water consumers will receive a copy of the Water Quality Report for 2019 soon. The annual reports are required by the U.S. EPA and provide information on how the water city residents are drinking compares with federal standards for water quality. The report describes the water supply system and information on what has been detected in the water.
