La Crosse Fire Dept. rescues man in concrete waterway
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The La Crosse Fire Department rescued a man after he fell into a concrete waterway in La Crosse Saturday.
Authorities said the incident happened at Pammel Creek around 5:45 p.m.
Fire crews rescued the man with UTV 1 because the water levels were low enough. Otherwise, they would have had to use a rope system to pull the patient out over a 16-foot wall.
The man was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
