La Crosse Farmers Market delays opening day
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The La Crosse Farmers Market is opening later than usual.
Although it’s considered an essential business, it’s being delayed until May 15th.
This is so the La Crosse Farmers Market Association can make a plan that follows social distancing guidelines.
In addition, it’s working to educate the community on food assistance programs that can be used at the market.
These include WIC and EBT/Food Share benefits.
Organizers are also working on creating pre-order and designated pick up areas.
