La Crosse County reports 14 new COVID-19 cases
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The La Crosse Health Department is reporting 14 new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, August 11.
Total cases are at 925, with 771 of those considered recovered (83%), five are known to currently be hospitalized, and there has been one death due to the virus in La Crosse County.
A total of 41 cases have ever been hospitalized due to COVID-19 in the county.
Today’s case demographics are as follows:
- 15 to 19-year-olds: 2 Females
- 20 to 29-year-olds: 5 Females, 2 Males
- 30 to 39-year-old: 1 Female
- 50 to 59-year-olds: 1 Female, 2 Males
- 60 to 69-year-old: 1 Male
Wisconsin Department of Health Services is reporting 18,414 negative tests in La Crosse County, which is an increase of 393 negative tests reported since yesterday.
