La Crosse County remains at very high transmission risk for COVID-19
LA CROSSE (WKBT) — La Crosse County remains at very high transmission risk for COVID-19, according to data reported by the Department of Health Services for the week of Sept. 5-11.
The La Crosse County Health Department reported 238 new cases in the past week for an average of 34 new cases per day. The 7-day average of hospitalized COVID patients is 56 for western Wisconsin. An average of seven were in the ICU and 1.8% were on ventilators.
The county health department urges people to get vaccinated and wear a mask indoors, regardless of vaccination status.
