La Crosse County Health Department partnering with community organizations to ensure vaccine access
The County held a vaccination clinic at the La Crosse Hmoob Cultural & Community Agency as part of the vaccination effort
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The La Crosse County Health Department is partnering with community groups to reach underserved populations.
A clinic was held earlier today at the Hmong Cultural and Community Agency on La Crosse’s south side.
County health leaders say partnering with other organizations will help ensure everyone can get the vaccine.
“It’s a goal for the La Crosse County Health Department and all local vaccinators to make the COVID-19 vaccine as equitable across the board as possible. And one of the ways that we can do that is to go out into the community,” said Abbie Loose with the La Crosse County Health Department.
The vaccination effort continues Thursday at Becker Plaza on seventh Street South from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The clinic is open to everyone, but you do need to make an appointment.
Vaccination details are available on the La Crosse County’s COVID-19 webpage.
