La Crosse County election results will not be released tonight
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Election results will not be available tonight following the closing of the polls.
According to La Crosse County Clerk Ginny Dankmeyer, La Crosse County will begin posting results on Monday, April 13 after 4 p.m.
All votes cast at the polls by 8 p.m. today, April 7, will be counted. Any absentee ballots that come back before April 13 at 4 p.m. AND are postmarked on or before election day (April 7) will be counted. After 8 p.m. today, voters WILL NOT be able to drop ballots off at the clerk’s office or dropbox. Dankmeyer stressed, “They must be postmarked today, April 7. Any ballots that arrive after today and are not postmarked on or before today will be rejected.”
