La Crosse County Dairy Breakfast is back on
BANGOR, Wis. (WKBT) — The annual La Crosse County Dairy Breakfast is back on thanks to the 2018 host farm agreeing to host the breakfast again this year.
Creamery Creek Holsteins in Bangor made the offer after hearing the news of the event’s cancelation.
According to the event’s Facebook Page, the committee had no offers from farms for 2019.
Now that the breakfast is back on, the committee has added some improvements to the event to be held June 15 from 6 to 11 a.m. “If you have never been to a dairy farm, this is a wonderful opportunity to learn about where your food comes from and the people who so passionately produce the milk, cheese, yogurt, ice cream and other dairy products we all enjoy so much. If you know someone who hasn’t visited a farm, bring the first-timer along with you.”
Organizers of the event appreciate all the support they have received after announcing the cancelation and hope the community will come to the June event to support Wisconsin farmers.
