La Crosse County Clerk calls voter turnout rate “remarkable”
Voter turnout in La Crosse County already at 26% with election day 15 days away
La Crosse County voter turnout is already at 26-percent and that’s just with absentee ballots that have been returned so far.
As of today more than 29,000 absentee ballots were requested in La Crosse County.
Almost 20,000 of which are already returned, which is a 67% return rate.
Based on these numbers, La Crosse County is already at 26-percent voter turnout rate which is “remarkable” according to La Crosse County Clerk Ginny Dankmeyer.
Taking a look at the return rate of other counties in our viewing area; Buffalo is at 53-percent, Crawford and Jackson at 58-percent, Monroe at 57-percent, Trempealeau at 60-percent and Vernon at 52-percent.
