La Crosse council member Medinger resigns
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — La Crosse Council Member Paul Medinger announced Thursday that he will resign from his position Dec. 11.
“Due to a number of factors, my schedule, family and personal reasons, I feel it is impractical for me to continue serving,” Medinger wrote in his resignation letter. “I also believe it is in the best interest of my family as we navigate through these changing times with the children home bound.”
Medinger has represented District 10 since 2011 and served as the chair of the Finance and Personnel Committee and Board of Park Commissioners.
“I have enjoyed working with everyone, and appreciate my fellow council members, and all City staff that I have worked with,” he wrote. “It has been an honor to serve the City for the past 10 years.”
