La Crosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner to celebrate 40 years

LA CROSSE (WKBT) – La Crosse’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner crew is recruiting volunteers for their 40th year.

The dinner will be held at the La Crosse Center.

It’s free and open to the public.

Dine-in, carry-out, and even delivery options are available.

Local schools also get to participate in the fun and make pies and cards.

Organizers are looking for help, and say anyone is welcome to lend a hand.

“This dinner is for everyone to come down,” said Chair of the Planning Committee, Ruth McQuiston-Keil. “We would love to see everyone come down for it, regardless of what your statute in life is.”

On Thanksgiving Day,  the doors will open at 10 a.m.

There will also be a non-denominational worship service at 10:30 a.m.

The meal is served from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
