La Crosse community members form ‘Life Chain’ in protest of abortion

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Members of the La Crosse community joined together to form “The Life Chain” this afternoon.

These community members held signs up and down Losey to stand against abortion.

Students from Aquinas High School’s IMPACT organization also joined in. For the students involved, this demonstration is a mission for human life.

“I personally, being such a strong Catholic, find it hard to believe that people are willing to kill other people because they think they should be able to,” said Amy Hein, an IMPACT student.

As a high school student who cannot vote yet, Amy feels it is important to make her voice heard.

The Life Chain occurs nationwide every year.
