LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The La Crosse Community Foundation is organizing a non-profit fund in honor of Anthony Fimple, the La Crosse teenager who lost his life in a shooting at a downtown La Crosse bar last summer.

Organizers say the non-profit, called The Anthony Fund, is being established as a tribute to the memory of Fimple.

The fund is focusing on impacting the community in a positive way through Nature Conservancy, as well as helping the homeless and the elderly.

The fund’s official launch date and website will be announced in the next few weeks.

More information can be found on the fund’s Facebook page.
