La Crosse Central finishes soccer season unbeaten after 1-1 draw with Tomah

The La Crosse Central Riverhawks hosted the Tomah Timberwolves for the final game of the boy’s soccer regular season.

Central entered the game with 9 wins, 4 ties, and 0 losses.

Ty Richer got the scoring started with a  laser from outside the box to put Tomah up 1-0.

Central would come back and on a Devin Wilkerson cross, Landon Larson taps it in to tie it at 1.

That’s how it would end and the Riverhawks finish the season unbeaten.

“It’s a great feeling you know. A Couple of ties here and there but no losses. It’s just a great way to end the year. We gotta stay locked in and focus on practices. Our practices tend to get a little rough, a little rowdy. We just gotta focus and be prepared for games to come,” said Senior, Landon Larson.

La Crosse Central beings the playoffs on Tuesday, October 18th as they host Holmen at Logan High School.

Tomah will start their postseason in Onalaska also on October 18th.
