La Crosse area twins compete for $100,000 in Lego Masters

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)- Two La Crosse area twins are competing this summer for a chance to win $100,000 building LEGOs.

Jacob and Caleb Schilling are participants in the nationally televised show Lego Masters where participants go head to head in different LEGOs building challenges.

The twins say they’ve been building with LEGOs since they were kids and have around 400,000 LEGO pieces in their basement.

“We loved building things and LEGOs obviously were a great building toy. Our parents introduced us to LEGOs when we were 5 back in 2003 and it just never stopped,” said LEGO builders Jacob and Caleb Schilling.

If the twins make it to the finale, they will be competing for a $100,000 cash prize, the Ultimate LEGO Trophy, and the grand title of LEGO Masters.
