La Crosse and 3 Rivers Model Railroad Show is fun for all ages

Event included displays, vendors, play areas

Model railroads filled the La Crosse Center’s North Hall from wall to wall this weekend.

It was fun for the whole family at the 35th annual La Crosse and 3 Rivers Model Railroad Show. Educational displays, vendors, and even play rooms for kids were set up for the weekend.

The entire event was a way for people of all ages to have fun.

“It’s an event for kids from 2 to 92. So it’s fun just to see the smile on the kids’ faces, it’s fun to see grandma and grandpa, you know, mom and dad out and around with the kids, and it’s fun to see people reminisce about the history of the railroads in this area,” said La Crosse and 3 Rivers Model Railroad Club Public Relations Director Mark Bell.

Some of the displays at the event took more than 6 hours to set up.
