La Crosse Airport Continues Improvments
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The La Crosse Regional Airport is continuing to improve its facilities.
Earlier this month, the airport began replacing the original pavement on the south end of the terminal in order to adjust for new gate locations.
Starting this week, a portion of the terminal parking lot will be resealed and remarked to improve the current parking area.
Officials hope that the revamped parking lot will help travelers getting to the airport.
“One of the things we are doing is we’re actually widening the spaces with our marking. That’ll provide a little more space for passengers to navigate our of their cars with luggage. So we’re hopeful that’ll be a good addition,” Airport Director Clinton Torp said.
The bigger parking spaces will cost the airport a few spots but officials say they still have plenty space to meet their demand.
