La Crescent-Hokah Middle, High School students return to in-person classes
LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WKBT) – More La Crescent-Hokah students are heading back into the classroom.
Monday, March 8th students 5th-8th grades returned to in-person learning four days a week.
High school students will return to face-to-face learning Monday, March 15th.
On Wednesdays students will learn virtually.
COVID-19 safety guidelines will still be in place, including smaller class sizes and arranged lunchroom seating.
Online learning will remain an option for families as well.
School staff said Friday it feels good to finally have kids back in the building.
“As you can imagine, there’s more energy in the building, and I can tell that people are a lot more excited to actually see their classmates in person rather than via Zoom,” said Principal Steve Smith.
Smith said many staff members have already received their second COVID-19 vaccination.
