La Crescent Aquatic Center opens for summer season

LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WKBT) – The La Crescent Aquatic Center opened Saturday.

The pool has lap swimming times in the morning and evening, and the center also has swimming lessons available for kids.

During the day, there’s plenty of fun for families.

“There’s lots of things for everyone to do, like the climbing wall and the slides. We have a nice kiddie area, we have a high dive and a low dive, so there’s lots to do and we have a concession stand as well,” said Katy Steffes, a Head Lifeguard.

Hours and staff are limited for the first two weeks since school is still in session.

The pool is open for the summer until August 21st.
