Kwik Trip celebrates 50th anniversary
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — One of the biggest convenience store chains in the Midwest that’s based in La Crosse, reaches a huge milestone.
Kwik Trip is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
On Friday, La Crosse and Onalaska proclaimed July 10th as “Kwik Trip Day.”
For the next month, the company is offering a number of different deals and give-a-ways for its customers, including 50¢ coffee and soda.
Kwik Trip’s owner credits the company’s long lasting success to its loyal employees.
“We want them to be, to come to work happy, we want them to be happy at their work and we want them to be happy when they leave their work. They’re our greatest assets that we have and the greatest happiness for me is seeing our co-workers happy,” said owner Don Zietlow.
Kwik Trip operates 490 stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa.
