Kind discusses health care impacts in La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The possible impacts of changes to the Affordable Care Act are being discussed in La Crosse.
Representative Ron Kind met with a group of people from Wisconsin to discuss the ACA.
The Trump administration is participating in a lawsuit to strike down the individual mandate in ACA.
On Wednesday, a resolution was passed in the U-S House of Representatives condemning the administration’s decision.
Kind says the Affordable Care Act should be improved, rather than repealed.
“It wasn’t a perfect bill, there’s things that need to be improved on, the expansion of premium tax credits to more people to reduce the cost, more out reach, more resources to educate and inform people,” said Wisconsin Representative Ron Kind.
