Kids create ‘Market on Madison Street’ to raise money for local non-profits, Black Lives Matter

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Kids in a La Crosse neighborhood are doing their part to make a difference in the community.

Alistar Davis, his sister Henrietta, and their mom set up the ‘Market on Madison Street’.

The market sells an assortment of homemade items, including masks, small wreaths, and painted rocks with encouraging messages on them.

And each week the money they make goes to some great causes, including the Coulee Region Humane Society, WAFER, and Black Lives Matter.

This week their profits are going to the Freedom Honor Flight.

Since they started they’ve made well over $600.

If you would like to stop by, head over to the northwest corner of 19th and Madison Streets.
