Jordyn Kleman carries Logan to first-ever state title game

Junior ace strikes out 13, drives in three runs for 3-1 victory over New London

After striking out the side in the first inning, Rangers fans knew Jordyn Kleman meant business in the state semifinal.

Little did they know, Kleman would be the star at the plate as well. A two-run home run to left got Logan on the board in the second, and again in the fifth Kleman visited the wall in left this time for an RBI double.

Three runs were on the board for the visiting team, and that was more than enough from the strikeout leader in the state of Wisconsin.

Thirteen strikeouts later, Jordyn Kleman and the Logan Rangers punched their ticket to the division two state title game for the first time in school history.

The Rangers will meet Waupun tomorrow at 12:30 P.M. in Madison.
