La Crosse area children have chance to fly through Civil Air Patrol Cadet program
Young aspiring pilots in the area will have a chance to learn to fly
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Young aspiring pilots in the area will have a chance to learn to fly. Over the next two weeks, the La Crosse Composite Squadron will hold three informational nights for kids and their parents.
The sessions are for people interested in joining the Civil Air Patrol Cadet program. Civil Air Patrol Cadets get an opportunity to fly, learn to be a pilot, and experience military life through the United States Air Force.
Two in-person meetings will take place at the CAP building located at 2906 Fanta Reed Road on Monday, April 26, and Monday, May 3. The meetings will take place from 6:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A virtual information night will be held Thursday, April 29 and that will take place from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
