After a successful sophomore season for Wisconsin men’s basketball, Johnny Davis officially declared for the NBA Draft Thursday afternoon in a segment on ESPN’s “NBA Today.”
Davis also posted on social media about his big decision, thanking his family, coaches, and teammates:

Davis told the show he has hired an agent, as well, meaning he will forego his remaining college eligibility.
Davis is a finalist for the Wooden Award and Naismith Player of the Year after averaging 19.7 points and 8.2 rebounds a game. He is projected in every reputable mock draft to be a high lottery pick in the upcoming NBA Draft. NBADraft.net and CBS Sports currently project him to go the Kings at No. 6 overall.
The NBA Draft is June 23.
