Job fair in La Crosse gives students help in planning future careers

Students at La Crosse Central High School are looking towards their future Tuesday.

A job fair hosted by ‘La Crosse Promise Future Centers’ helped students prepare for future schooling and job choices. It also gave students a chance to set up job shadow opportunities.

Organizers say an event like this has an impact in making sure students are ready for careers after they graduate.

“This is an important step, in terms of not just finding out about employers and what’s offered in the area but in terms of, I think, learning what it takes to be a little bit more professional,” said Brian Liesinger, Executive Director of La Crosse Promise.

Logan High School will host a job fair next week.
