Janice Bernadine (Cieman) Delaney, age 87, of Warrens, Wisconsin, lost her 2- year battle with cancer on Friday, March 13, 2020, at Tomah Health in Tomah, Wisconsin, surrounded by her loving family.

Janice grew up in Camp Douglas, WI and on January 2, 1954, she married Richard L. Delaney Sr. and together they had 8 children. Janice was a very strong, independent woman. Later in life she loved to travel, she wintered in California with her son, Bernie and traveled to Florida with her oldest son, Richard. She loved going to Florida and enjoyed alligator and sitting by the pool enjoying the sunshine.

She also traveled to Las Vegas, Maine, New York, Nashville, and Memphis. She traveled until her health would no longer allow her to go.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her parents, Cecelia and Paul Cieman, sisters, Pauline Mangino, Jane Beckman, Jean Winkleman, brothers-in-law, Mike Mangino and Fritz Winkleman, one grandson and two great grandchildren.

She is survived by her 8 children, Richard (Evelyn) Delaney of Warrens, WI, Larry Delaney of Antigo, WI, Cecelia Delaney of Tomah, WI, Russell (Brittany) Delaney of Warrens, WI, Pam Delaney of Tomah, WI, Bernie Delaney of California, Sharon (Mike) Rhodes of Neenah, WI and Ryan (Devan) Delaney of Ixonia, WI. She is further survived by a twin brother, Jess Jean of Necedah, WI, a sister-in-law, Carol (Ron) Fike and a brother-in-law, Garland Delaney of Portland, OR, 23 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and her very special pet cat, “Muffy”.

Per Janice’s wishes she will be cremated and burial take place on a sunny warmer date with her immediate family in attendance.
