‘It’s minor tweaks’: Badgers QB Mertz confident improvement can happen

The Notre Dame loss may have put several Badger personnel in hot water.

With that 41-13 loss Saturday, head coach Paul Chryst is 10-16 against Top 25-ranked teams, and starting quarterback Graham Mertz is 0-5, with two touchdowns and 11 interceptions in those games.

Mertz is confident, however, that things can get turned around.

“It’s minor tweaks. You go back and look at the games, and we’re kind of hurting ourselves on a lot of this stuff. It’s frustrating, but we know the only way to get better is if we correct them. It takes all 11 to make every play work.”
