Isolated Evening Showers… Then Decreasing Humidity Overnight -Bill Graul
Rain Chances Increasing for Friday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 63F / Thursday’s Forecast High: 82F…
A cold front is dropping south across the region this evening, causing passing clouds and isolated showers or sprinkles in spots. Most areas will remain dry. A bit muggy this evening, then decreasing humidity overnight behind the front. Lows tonight will be in the 50s (north/east) to low-mid 60s (south).
Nice summer day for our Thursday with a mix of clouds and sun and pleasant highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. It will be less humid as well. Rain chances are increasing for Friday as a disturbance moves in from the west. Forecast models have really ramped up the rain chances around here late Thursday night into Friday morning. The rain looks to taper or shift east by later Friday afternoon… which would be good news for Friday evening plans. With the increase in clouds and rain chances Friday, I’ve lowered expected highs into the upper 60s to low 70s.
Looking Ahead… Just isolated t-showers possible Saturday, otherwise the weekend is looking mainly dry and warmer with highs back in the low-mid 80s. A bit more humid for the weekend as well.
Low-end rain chances at times into next week with a mix of sun and clouds. Temps look fairly seasonable Monday through Thursday with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s and lows in the 50s to low 60s.
Have a great Wednesday night! -Meteorologist Bill Graul
