Investigation for Tomah armed robbery continues
Police impound suspects' vehicle after tip from resident
TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT) — Tomah Police are still searching for three armed robbery suspects.
Police say they robbed the BeMobile Verizon store in Tomah around 10:30 Thursday morning.
An employee told police the three suspects went into the store, showed a handgun, and demanded money. They got away with cash and a number of electronic devices.
Less than an hour later a caller tipped off Police to the suspects van abandoned in Oakdale, southeast of Tomah. Police searched the area but were unable to find the suspects.
Investigators are working with area retailers to get surveillance video to help identify the 3 suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Monroe County Crime Stoppers at (608) 269-STOP.
