In Search Of…The Enchanted Forest 10/27/05

Hidden in the woods of the Hixon Forest Nature Center is a world of enchantment. Candyland, Peppermint Forest and
all your favorite children’s characters, can all be found at the 6th annual Enchanted Forest.

“The parents and children hike along a trail, a short loop in hixon forest, and along the trails they meet Dorothy,
the Tin Manm butt also some of their favorite superheroes, as well as the classics, Snow White, Cinderella.”

“It’s really a magical time for the kids. Their eyes are unbelievable when they walk up to Shrek and Fiona together
and get some candy from them.”

From the trails to the treats, the masks and the music, it is a Halloween experience kids small and tall will
enjoy. “The parents have as much fun as the kids and that’s what makes this whole effort such a great family
thing.”

We went in search of a Halloween treat the whole family can enjoy, we found it.

And here’s some good news, the Enchanted Forest has expanded to two weekends because of the overwhelming response
from you. You can head to Hixon Forest between 1 – 4 on Saturday and Sunday, or call to make a reservation at
