‘Imagine 2040’ provide path for resiliency, growth for businesses in downtown La Crosse
Project seeking community comments
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Leaders from La Crosse and Downtown Mainstreet are planning for the future of the city’s downtown.
The pair are partnering for the ‘Imagine 2040’ plan.
The plans will build on the Vision 2020 plan, which was put in place two decades ago.
Feedback from community members will be helpful to ensure that downtown La Crosse can be a place that people want to live, work and shop.
COVID-19 has created a lot of issues for people and businesses in our area.
The plan is a way for the community to overcome the hurdles.
“What we’re really trying to do is make sure that La Crosse and specifically with this plan, the downtown can be resilient, bounce back from that and set ourselves up for success for the future,” Downtown Mainstreet president Will Kratt.
A survey is available on the Imagine Downtown La Crosse website.
