iFeed community food drive coming Saturday in La Crosse
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — High school students and community members will work to make sure no one goes hungry at an event this weekend.
The 5th annual iFeed event is Saturday at Logan High School.
Students from seven different area high schools and members of local Rotary Clubs will come together for the event.
Meals will be packed to be shipped to Nicaragua and donations collected for area food pantries.
The students realize their impact will help those who need it.
“That’s a region that really needs help, and they need nutritious meals, and they don’t have the resources to make them at their own homes,” said Henning Hanson, iFeed coordinator for Onalaska Interact Club.
Non-perishable food donations can be delivered to Logan High School from 8 a.m to noon on Saturday.
