How to communicate with your political opposite

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – Political views are not typically considered table talk. But Great Rivers United Way is hosting another civil discourse workshop in an effort to make politics more conversational.

The first workshop, “Depolarizing Within”, was a great success and another one is taking place at Western Technical College on Tuesday, March 10.

Tuesday’s topic is “Skills Training”, facilitated by nationally-known, non-partisan citizens’ movement Better Angels Organization.

The event will offer lessons on how to better communicate with others who have different political beliefs.

The workshop starts at 2:30 p.m. at the Lunda Center in La Crosse and is FREE to attend. To register for the event click here.
